I just returned from Collaborate 18 in Las Vegas, which, for those of who aren’t familiar with it, is the annual Oracle User’s Group meeting. They had thousands of attendees again this year and had some great presenters including our own Sridahr Avantsa, Kevin Gilpin and Mike Messina, who talked about moving to the cloud and updating to Oracle 12C.
Technology is changing so fast, it’s hard to keep up with it these days. That’s a big reason why we believe eighty percent of enterprise IT solutions will be purchased through service integrators like Rolta AdvizeX. It’s our job to keep up with the latest technology, whether it’s through annual recertifications or constant communications with technology vendors.
CIOs have some big plans for 2014 including BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) management, Cloud services, Data Base Management, Enterprise Application Support and Big Data. What they don’t have are bigger budgets.
