Thanksgiving Centerpiece


  Add a bit of sparkle to your Thanksgiving decor with this glittery fruit bowl.

What you need:

  • (1) can Krylon Orange Burst Glitter Blast spray paint
  • (1) can Krylon Cherry Bomb Glitter Blast spray paint
  • (1) can Krylon Bronze Blaze Glitter Blast spray paint
  • (1) can Krylon Golden Glow Glitter Blast spray paint
  • (1) can Krylon Citrus Dream Glitter Blast spray paint
  • (1) can Krylon Glitter Blast Clear Sealer
  • Assorted paper mache' fruit
  • (1) Wooden bowl
  • (12) Artificial autumn leaves
  • Masking tape and paper

How and How Long:

  1. Mask off stems of paper mache' fruit.
  2. Spray fruit with Krylon Glitter Blast in colors appropriate for the type of fruit. Spritz fruit with additional colors to add color variation and dimension.
  3. After Glitter Blast is completely dry, spray fruit with sealer.
  4. Mask bowl to only expose edge of wooden bowl. Spray edges with Glitter Blast in Bronze Blaze; spray with sealer when dry. Remove masking.
  5. Spritz artificial leaves with variety of colors of Glitter Blast.
  6. Arrange fruit and leaves in and around bowl as a centerpiece.

Approximate project time: 2 hours.
