Spooky Halloween Votives


  Light up the night with these spooky votives.

What you need:

  • (1) can Krylon Black Indoor/Outdoor spray paint
  • (1) can Krylon Purple Indoor/Outdoor spray paint
  • (1) can Krylon Pumpkin Orange Indoor/Outdoor spray paint
  • (1) can Krylon Orange Burst Glitter Blast spray paint
  • (1) can Krylon Grape Glitz Glitter Blast spray paint
  • (1) can Krylon Starry Night Glitter Blast spray paint
  • (1) Krylon Black Paint Pen
  • (3) three glass votives
  • Halloween themed stickers
  • Masking tape

How and How Long:

  1. Apply a halloween sticker to the front of each glass votive.
  2. Spray paint votives, each with a different color of Krylon Indoor/Outdoor paint; allow to dry completely (note: leave stickers in place).
  3. Use masking tape to cover strip of painted glass around the top edge and over opening of votive.
  4. Spray votives with Krylon Glitter Blast, each with a contrasting color from the base coat; allow to dry.
  5. Carefully remove stickers and masking tape.
  6. Outline top edge of votives and designs left by stickers with paint pen.

Approximiate project time: 1 hour.
