Halloween Chalk Art


  "I'd turn back if I were you!" Warn your party guests of all the haunts lurking around your home by creating some fun Halloween chalk art with Krylon chalkboard paint.

What you need:

  • (1) can Krylon chalkboard spray paint
  • (1) Old sign or piece of wood
  • Masking Tape Chalk or white Expo Bright Sticks
  • Wet erase marker
  • Artistic ability or some kind of projector

How and How Long:

  1. Tape off any edges of the sign or wood that you don't want to be painted.
  2. Spray three thin, even coats of Krylon chalkboard paint on board, allowing the paint to dry between each coat.
  3. Allow paint to harden completely before writing on it with chalk.
  4. Prep the surface by "ghosting" with a side of chalk and wiping down the excess.
  5. Download free halloween chalk art printable from www.unskinnyboppy.com.
  6. Freehand sketch or trace the projected printable image on the chalkboard.
  7. Display in your house and creep out your guests!
