Tabletops to Mirrors

I had 2 glass tabletops that had been sitting in a closet for years. When I saw Krylon Looking Glass spray paint, I knew I wanted to transform them into mirrors.

What you need:

  • (1) can of Krylon Looking Glass Spray Paint
  • Acrylic paint
  • Paint brush

How and How Long:

  1. Clean the glass tabletops well.
  2. Take your glass outside or somewhere well ventilated to spray paint. With this spray paint you paint the versus side that you will be seeing. So I painted the back of the glass.
  3. Spray paint a light coat. I started at the top working left to right in rows working down the glass.
  4. It only needs a few minutes to dry before it's ready for the next coat. Repeat #3 till you have your 3-4 coats done.
  5. Once dry flip it over and admire your reflective image!
  6. I then used acrylic paint to change the brass edges to a rustic black/silver frame.
Approximate project time: 1 hour.

What it Costs:

Cost is $15 (1 can of Looking Glass Paint cost $12 and two bottles of acrylics paint cost $2).
