Bathroom Accessories

Why spend money on new bathroom hardware and accessories when you can revitalize what you have? Buyers will think your bathroom looks great with finishing touches like these.

What you need:

  • 1-2 Cans Krylon Indoor/Outdoor Primer in a color close to paint color
  • 1-2 Cans Krylon Brushed Metallic in desired finish
  • Medium grit sandpaper
  • Drop cloth or newspaper
  • Screwdriver
  • Lint free rag

How and How Long:

  1. Use screwdriver to remove accessories from the wall or cabinet.
  2. Cover your work surface with a drop cloth or newspaper to protect the area from overspray.
  3. If the surface of your accessories is smooth or glossy, sand lightly with a medium grit sandpaper.
  4. Remove sanding residue as well as any grease, dirt or oils.
  5. Following the instructions on the can, apply the primer using several light coats versus one heavy coat. If paint is applied too heavily, it may run or drip; if this happens, sand smooth and reapply primer. Let dry.

  7. Re-install accessories and enjoy!
