House Numbers


  Make sure that potential buyers don't just drive by! Update your old, weathered address numbers with a fresh coat of paint. Whether you prefer something simple or a metallic finish, Krylon Outdoor Spaces has what you need.

What you need:

  • 1 can Krylon Outdoor Spaces in your desired finish
  • Small screwdriver
  • Drop cloth or newspaper
  • Wire brush (optional)
  • All-purpose cleaner
  • Medium Grit Sandpaper
  • Tack cloth

How and How Long:

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the metal numbers and place on a work surface covered with newspaper or a drop cloth.
  2. Remove loose rust with a wire brush or sandpaper. Remove dirt or grease with an all-purpose cleaner.
  3. Lightly sand glossy or shiny surfaces and remove sanding residue with a tack cloth.
  4. Following the instructions on the can, apply several light coats to avoid runs or drips.
  5. Let dry for at least 2 hours.
  6. Re-attach numbers.
